Sweet Epiphany was born long before it had a name.
Our story
It began in my childhood during something my family lovingly called Goody Night. Every week, my mom, my sisters, and I went to Bible Study—then once a month, everyone gathered for a potluck celebration. Nothing store-bought. Nothing rushed. Every dish was made with intention and love.
Dessert quickly became my contribution.
I’ll never forget the joy on people’s faces as they as they tasted my treats—those smiles, those “can you make more?” moments planted a seed in me. A passion for creating sweets that made people feel seen, loved, and uplifted.
Life happened… But Purpose Waited Patiently
As the years passed, responsibilities grew. With my own family and career, life became full, and baking shifted into something more occasional as I did it only during holidays, birthdays, and fun moments with family.
Then the world paused.
During the stillness of the COVID shutdown, I felt myself reevaluating everything. In that quiet and midst of uncertainty, I sensed an invitation to return to what once brought me joy. I started baking again—first for family, then friends, then anyone willing to taste test.
The Epiphany
One Sunday after church, the pastor read Habakkuk 2:2: "Write the vision. make it plain on tablets.”
That simple moment became a divine spark—an awakening.
Sweet Epiphany emerged as the name that perfectly captured the journey: a rediscovery of my love for God and my love for baking, woven back together after years of feeling disconnected from both.
Baking That Speaks to the Soul
Our founder, Caroline
Every Sweet Epiphany dessert is created with intention—rooted in gratitude, inspired by faith, and meant to spark joy. My hope is that each bite reminds you of something good:
A sweet memory
A moment of comfort
A reason to smile
A little taste of home
And most of all, I hope you feel the passion and purpose behind every recipe.
With love,
Sweet Caroline
